Steve - Actually, Steve you may have two reserves. How, did I hear you say? Consider this. Look under your tank and you will see the reserve petcock is mounted on only one side of the tank. Nowhere on my '96' Savage tank do I find a crossover tube as I had on my Guzzi to flow gas from the bottom of the right hand side of the tank. My point is this. When you go on reserve you are drawing fuel from the left side of the tank only. When it expires, tip the bike WAY OVER LEFT and let the fuel drain/flow from the right hand bottom of the tank to the left hand side where the fuel petcock is. Betcha get a few more miles! Try it sometime when you have a 1 gallon can strappped to the back just for fun.
